1. Classification by physical state of materials
It can be divided into liquid materials, thin sheet materials, powder materials, filamentous materials, etc.
2. Classification by chemical properties of materials
According to the different chemical properties of materials, they can be further divided into resin materials, paraffin materials, metal materials, ceramic materials and their composite materials.
3. Classification by material forming method
According to different molding methods, it can be divided into SLA materials, LOM materials, SLS materials, FDM materials etc.
SLA and Photosensitive resin are the most widely used 3D printing materials. They have the following performance:
a. Beneficial for fast and accurate machining of prototype parts.
b. Rapid prototyping parts are close to the final needs and meet the requirements for strength, stiffness, moisture resistance, thermal stability etc.
c. Beneficial for the subsequent processing technology.
